The greatest fans and supporters of Advanced Colleges of America are its student body. With a culture that holds student respect at its core, ACA has been able to recruit the brightest and most promising future healthcare providers.
Approved by the State of California, Advanced College of America's 2009 Feasibility Study established that our graduates will have more clinical experience, will hold more respectable diplomas, and will be perceived more favorably when compared to traditional medical assistants during the employment process, and they may even be considered for higher ranking and paying positions due to their successful completion of ACA’s Advanced Medical Assisting program.
With access to more than 500 professionally managed clinical sites, ACA offers hands-on clinical externships that are within reasonable driving distances in all 50 states, and supervised by U.S. teaching attending physicians who are affiliated with renowned U.S. teaching institutions.
Technology has illustrated that the classroom does not need to be the nucleus of learning, as networked multimedia are able to extend the teaching and learning experience. Advanced Colleges of America combines a online instruction with face-to-face clinical externships, providing our students with opportunities to explore real-world issues through authentic learning experiences within collaborative learning environments.
"To provide progressive, technologically based quality education that will lead to advanced career placement opportunities for our graduates". With our Mission, we are dedicated to addressing and fulfilling the educational needs of our students with excellence and effectiveness, coupled with personalized service, while intending to meet various global challenges faced by humankind.
Advanced Colleges of America is an environmentally conscious organization. Since September 1, 2009, ACA has taken major steps towards becoming a greener organization by offsetting more than 10 metric tons of CO2 each month.
ACA student population ranges from recent high school graduates aiming to become advanced medical assistants, to undergraduate students preparing to apply to graduate healthcare programs, to medical school graduates looking to become more competitive residency candidates.
Advanced Colleges of America is fully committed to decreasing the carbon footprint of our entire workforce, our student body and vendors, and to contributing to a world that is far more environmentally conscious, and mindful towards preserved planet Earth for our children. Reducing our carbon footprint can also be seen as reducing our energy and resource usage costs and thereby improving the efficiency and costs of managing our college.
